A 'Modern Nest' designed for a contemporary lifestyle — balancing clean, open spaces with warm, natural textures.
THE BRIEF
The clients requested a 'Modern Nest' — a cozy yet minimalist sanctuary to retreat to after long days. The design needed to feel open, clutter-free, and inviting.
THE SITE
A compact 2BHK footprint in Dhayari characterized by fragmented, small rooms that restricted natural cross-ventilation and light penetration.
THE CHALLENGES
The main challenge was spatial constraint. The existing wall partitions made the apartment feel confined, working against the client's desire for an open, breathing sanctuary. Storage also needed to be maximized without encroaching on the limited floor area.
THE SOLUTION
We stripped away unnecessary partitions to maximize natural light. Warm oak tones, tactile linen fabrics, and sharp matte black accents were woven together to create a calm, modern aesthetic that feels effortlessly cozy. Storage was embedded directly into the walls, preserving the clean lines of the home.
It truly feels like a nest. Even on the most chaotic days, coming home instantly grounds us.
